I finally took the time to flatten down the edges of each pocket. We got a new TV so had to modify the belt anyway.

update: I did not reinforce/sew onto a firm fabric backing, so they have stretched out a lot :'(
I actually ended up making too much slack so they are not actually "hanging" by their loopies...they are wrapped around and around instead of one easy "hook" ...oops
