Nice tree ornament stockings

I have lost count of how many stockings I have made this year now. Here are some of them.

Modified based off the same little cotton rabbits pattern as always

Panel #1
4.0 (teal) in my set, CO for raised chevron (16×5 + 2)=82 stch OR CO for wide chevron (14x6 + 3) = 87
Ended up doing simple chevron just bc I didnt want to watch the stitches so closely
Panel #2
5.0 (pink) for this one
CO 98 = (16 x 6) + 2
Tinsel/garland: string pre-measure was 42 inches so at least 45 inches + extra length to sew
(The stockings need maybe 21 inches + extra length to sew)

Flower teal astronaut bee

I have decided he is a brave little astronaut because the background has so much teal it looks more like the pacific ocean from a ferry boat and what is space but a sea. Always thought that was a beautiful parallel image.

I just Googled simple bee paint activity and there was one in particular I liked the composition of. Mine turned out fairly differently (especially the bee) but if you see something similar enough on Google image search it's probably that one lol

Bee doorstop

In use every day!

Cute
---

Cute little fish eye and same angry eyebrow as dracu-bunny lol
---

Used a paver. Had some super chunky fluff yarn leftover from making stuffed animals, so wrapped the brick in cardboard than wove a white fluff layer then knitted the final exterior bee sleeve.

Our bedroom door does not stay shut. We have to replace the flooring at some point.

Pink shawl

Bell sleeve?

Really, really like how the scallop neck turned out.

I am not really a tassel person but I decided to try an oversized one. I am i-cord banding the snowman humps. I might not bother but the oversized thickness needs more support if it's gonna last and I also got to the hem of the sweater I am cannibalizing which is the weakest part. Structural integrity is really not there. I easily tore some strands accidentally with the tip of a metal darning needle.

Cannibalizing the sofi sweater piece by piece

---

Watched the NOLA Hurricaine Katrina docuspecial on Netflix. It actually got some of the healing juices flowing for the year we lived in Louisiana. In that year I made the sofi sweater and it does NOT FIT. Unable to do anything with it and not having the heart to tear it apart or the desire to think about that terrible 14 months, it's been sitting in a bag for almost three years. I started and finished it while we were still there. I happened to have used up the rest of that particular pink in the middle of that documentary and it just worked out emotionally to be able to pick it up again. Beautifully spun sirdar cashmere silk Merino blend

Labor Day dunplings interlude

Officially have entered my shawl phase. I liked the Stormy Sky Shawl pattern so much and felt like variegated yarn I used last time didn't make it pop enough, so I actually used the same pattern twice! I almost never do the same stuff but I like it!
