Double crochet border: the color at the join was just so jarring that I crocheted a line down to make a decorative border that matched the sides and how they were "seamed" to create a sort of uniformity. I would have experimented with a heavier or lighter weight or with a larger or smaller hook but decided to just give it a try to see about the whole effect.
It was also really necessary to make the second row because the first crochet was so irregular.
Also could have paid more attention to which way the line "faced" right or left and I joined them at the armpit so I could have done a continuous spiral (or more) but hadn't decided how many rows yet.
Maybe I will go back and do a second line on the side seams to match back again lol

Yes, it fits hubby too

Decided to sc the sides together. Normally I would never have such a visible seam but it went from cable into stockinette so it was going to be jarring anyway. Better to have a clean line imo

The neat sc seam from a diff POV

Sleeves are super round and wide. I don't usually do this kind of square shoulder but kt was pretty clean. I think raglan are just prettier generally.

Torso looks like a winter muscle tank. Cameo orange (and lime) bowl lol

Fair warning this is one of those patterns written for absolute beginner level so it is a lot of "x sts for y rows" and line by line (punny). Gotta read between the lines (funny I know) to visualize the whole thing
