coffee jars series

All shellac'd and dried and filled!

3. Decaf jar (Aug 22 2026)

Was gonna give him forehead wrinkles but decided to leave him with a five head.

His poor little belly is in the totally wrong place. Let's just say he is a Picasso gojira. Or maybe has three feet. Radioactive lizard can totally have three feet.

Going with a sleeping gojira :)

2. crazed hyper boston terrier(?) espresso (May 25 2025)

---

1. cute and sweet sugar cat (Apr 12 2025)

I am reposting the sugar cat because I had to redo the ears. I had to wait until we went through another Illy espresso container in order to have a new cap to redo the ears rather than the cat.

Kleenex kitty for nice lady

Custom order: ginger kitty with tissues coming out the rear pie hole

---

Made one of my signature microsoft paint diagrams.

---

Beans!

---

Back paws! (Instead of paws under like a cat sitting on glass. Making a flap was not intelligent design even if it would have been cute)

---

Front paws!

---

Loaf is finally done. Still needs his legs and under flap.

---

Back is done!

---

Pull!

---

Working on front. Something is not right. Hmmm.....I figured it out--ears were too far apart!

Kinda looks like salmon nigiri right now lol

---

Decided to just sew tissue box in place until it's further along

---

Removed those front feet that I hated. They will be too small anyway.

---

Loaf cat turkey leg set up

---

Checking overall shape. Will have to extend tail length

---

Peach box = under lining, finished exterior will be cat shaped, not box shaped. Base of square will have under loaf paws like under a glass table as well.

---

Size 8, aran, 17 per side x 4 = 68, add a few extra and 72 = total round

Box: 4 3/8" x 4 3/8" x 5"'

Someone saw this ceramic orange cat tissue box cover on hubby's desk, and thus, request.

Cactuar for living room

Arms turned out a little too skinny but this one is staying at home so who cares.

---

Edit: Jul 29 2026 I have decided I don't want to do a zen garden. Will have to secure to base a different way. Enter box my new hairbrush came in and acrylic paint!

---

Ready to stand in its garden. Gonna make a fake zen garden to stand it in. Maybe a rake to counter balance it.

---

Right angle ends

---

Arms magic circle to 12, right angle ends. I debated doing the proper ridge texture with the arms too and decided heck no because i hate crocheting.

---

From the....crotch...base, pick up 4 stitches, add on one stitch either side, and create each individual rib to go with each individual dowel. I ended up with 8 ribs.

Magic circle crochet to 30 for...there is no other word for it, crotch.

Pick up and knit 3 + 1 on either side

Because why not

Saekdong/색동 pillow for me

Want to sort of recall korean-american nostalgia from the 90s.

Next time I visit home I might have to dig through old photos to find pics of that kind of old decor I remember.

A modern, traditional motif style, but in the shape of a classic american throw pillow.

found a super old one in my photos under my sleeping dad's head (cropped)

Shape-wise:

Not maemil (sleeping pillow)

Not bangsuk (seat cushion)

Art-wise:

Not military stuff like a modern flag.

Not dancheong/straight up embroidery.

Something like a tricolor taeguk in a more modern setting, and still pretty, of course.

Edit Aug 2026: I guess I have to micro-crochet that half eaten apple and fish skeleton now that I totally forgot about doing

The boy is a tad bit special. Maybe a bit inter-species. Supposed to be a racoon but might be half lemur.
